As we know realme devices come with their own variant for android i.e. realme UI. This ROM has many added features over android as well as bloatware. Also for many devices this doesn't seem to be polished and optimsed.

Realme has started to ignore it's devices when it comes to updates. But since the whole ecosystem of realme is closed we don't see much custom roms. Custom roms can be a great way to keep our devices updated even when realme drops the support for them.

Custom roms are generally more stable as they provide stock experience. There are no bloatware in custom roms. But to develop these roms, developers need device and kernel sources that are device specific.

Making device and kernel sources open is with the spirit of android as android itself is open source. Also, not providing these sources are against the privacy of users. Since we are not able to see what is realme doing with our kernel.

With this petition we would like realme to look into our matter and provide kernel and device sources for every device.
