WHEREAS, our membership should be confident in assuming that official statements by the staff member in charge of Contract Administration, during a full membership townhall prior to voting, would be correct and factual.
WHEREAS, after the highly persuasive speech, indicating the risks, consequences and the Futility of fighting for a better contract, the membership voted to accept the TA by a 10% margin after these false statements.
WHEREAS, in fact, and in reality the Operators (IUOE) had not yet voted, and had posted publicly on their website, they were timing there vote to stand in Solidarity with the Carpenters.

WHEREAS, in fact, and reality, the Electricians (IBEW) have asked to vote for Strike Authorization and have been Actively grassroots organizing with the Carpenters, and all other trades, to present an educated, active and United Front.
WHEREAS, many members were not able to vote, some found the system said they had already voted, and some received notice of the vote in the mail, the day after it ended.
WE THE UNDERSIGNED MEMBERS SO EFFECTED, ask that after properly vetting and decimating Factual information to the membership, the tainted vote be disqualified and that a second vote on the #3 TA is held as soon as can be managed by the Pacific NW Regional Council of Carpenters staff.
