Right now, in New Zealand we have a health care crisis. 

We simply do not have enough staff on hand to adequately care for the people of New Zealand. 

Nurses have been striking on and off over working conditions. Patients are waiting for hours in emergency rooms, old people have died alone in their homes due to the lack of ambulance staff available. People are being rushed out of hospital beds as staff scramble to house the steady influx of sick patients. 

At the same time, we are barring hundreds of fit and well unvaccinated health workers from their jobs. Denying them the ability to care for your family, and denying your family the right to receive that care. 

The Ministry of Health (MOH) says health staff workers must be vaccinated to 'protect' patients. But how? Where is the science in this?

It's well known now that the mRNA Covid-19 vaccines do little to stop transmission. At the time of writing, (Aug 17, 2022) according to MOH data, there are 28,940 active cases of Covid-19, the seven-day rolling average of Covid-19 case numbers in the community is 3975, 90% of the eligible population over 12, has been vaccinated with two doses of the vaccine and 2,714,827 people have received at least one booster shot.

Then just this week, the CEO of Pfizer himself, Albert Bourla, publicly stated that he had tested positive for Covid-19, despite having FOUR injections of the vaccine. 

It's just so blaringly clear the vaccines are not stopping transmission. So why are we still following these mandates?

These measures were supposed to protect us in the early stages, but all they are doing is hurting the people of New Zealand, and causing a divide in our country.

If my Mum, Dad, brother or friend fell ill tomorrow, I would want them to receive care immediately. I would not for a second worry if that care came from a vaccinated or unvaccinated person.

Equally, if your brother or sister needed medical attention tomorrow, would you not want them to at least have the right to chose for themselves between having care from an unvaccinated nurse, or potentially no care at all?

Please, sign this petition and demand that nurses, doctors, aged care workers and all other health workers in New Zealand can come back to work.

These nonsensical mandates must stop.

Let our health staff do what they do best. Let them care for your family, and let them care for theirs.
