We the local residents of Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, Stage 4, Stage 5, Jharapada village, Laxminagar village like to bring attention of Bhubaneswar development authority and chief minister of Odisha that the daily market of Jharapada was very helpful for our daily household needs. We used to get fresh green vegetables, nonveg items ( fish, egg and chicken) easily in our door step. The people and farmers from 1km radius were  dependent on the market. Nearly 500 sellers and 200000 people are affected due to this evacuation. Specifically the senior citizens and women could able to access the market place and buy the fresh vegetables easily. We do not need the concrete jungle again in that place. BDA and BMC can take the administration of the market(ହାଟ). BDA or BMC has not taken any local opinions before the evacuation process. We, the public are strongly condemning the act of govt authority in the name of development.

Destruction/evacuation is not a solution of everything. Your support to rehabilitate the poor sellers and re-establish the market is highly solicited.
