Change school gender discriminatory policy

My high school won't let me donate my hair to a cancer organization.
Yes, I Dylan Thomas, have long hair and have been trying to get it to the bare minimum length to donate to be able to donate it to Wigs for Kids. However I am being persecuted due to the length of my hair. I am not a bad student in the least and I am not trying to “rebel” against authority. I am in the top 10% of my class, taken all the college courses I can, I was our marching band drum major, one of the first people to make All Region Jazz Band, and a student athlete. I pride myself and consider myself a go getter and would like to think of myself as a role model for younger students. Someone these very students can look up to and say to themselves “If he can do it so can I!” My hair length has nothing to do with any of those things, it has not kept me from pushing myself to be the best student I can be, it has not kept me from being the best band member I can be and it has not kept me from being the best athlete I can be. Hair style and length has nothing to do with my ability as a student but it has everything to do with me being able to express myself and be able to do something really great for a kid who is in need. This isn't right and I'm tired of going silent. Feel free to leave your own opinion in the comments and please do share.
