Friends and Fellow IT professionals , by this time we all would have heard about the sorrowful death of the IT employee of Gopikrishna Guruprasad in pune. He commited sucide in viman nagar location of pune. What is equally worrying is the sucide note he left out before taking this dreadful decision. The note clearly talks about how the worst job insecurtiy prevelling in IT industry have forced him to take this decission. Few weeks before an IT employee inside infosys also found dead. Though the cause of that death reported to be natural. It was evident that he suffered from a massive heart attack. It’s very natural that such unprecedented job insecurity in the industry will push anyone who is dependent on the industry to that level of mental stress.

Situation is like this, but the state and the central government authorities are giving very lethargic statements about the unstable situation in the industry. Recent statement from the Hon’ble’ central IT minister Ravi Shankar Prasad saying no such massive illegal firing is happening in the industry is a classic example to know how the state authorities are dealing this situation . No words to be separately mention on NASSCOM.

In this serious situation, Knowledge professionals forum as an organization committed to IT employee’s welfare appeals to all the employees of the industry to come forward and organize yourself collectively to discuss about these issues and, bring out the unreported incidents. Unless we help ourselves we cannot expect things will change automatically. On the one hand the slow down in global market situation and ultra-protective policies and restriction imposed by the western countries are worrying but on the other hand for every quarter profits of the IT gaints and the salaries of CEOs and CFOS are increasing steeply upwards !!! this phenomea is nothing but a direct result of putting thousands and thousands of IT employees life in to RISK. So please come forward , let us

Discuss the situation, Equip ourselves and Move further.
