I'm signing for my wife, daughters, mom, sister, grand-mother, sister in-laws, mother in-law, my nieces and all my female friends and neighbors. Another good reason for signing is because Aileen Rizo is my wife. www.aileenrizo.com

It is now 2018 and all females owe it to themselves to sincerely acknowledge that they matter, as well as, deserve love and respect. You are not to be marginalized. Everything you do from the time you wake up in the morning until you finally rest at night is giving of yourself. It is time that you read this petition, heed its words, and allow the information to empower you to support yourselves. There is no selfishness in that because your family is only as strong as you and the "little things" make a large impact on our society.

Tired, sad, hurt, unhappy, numb, worried, emotional, angry, dumb... these are only a few descriptions of women when they speak up or out. They aren't incorrect - after a long frustrating or exhausting day I feel that way, but why might these terms be what they used to dismiss the women who are entrusted to raise their male counterparts, our leaders, resepcted bosses and business people? Women juggle the schedules of the households. Many females not only work, but are responsible for their homes and everyone in it from their schedules at school, extra-curricula activities, transportation, meals, allergies, doctor visits, insurances, finances, friends, the list is extensive. How many hats do you wear? Whether you are the sole provider, a contributing partner, the counselor, the cheerleader, the mentor, the detective, the personal assistant and the final decision maker/"bad guy" from anything to everything for everyone in your household, your hat(s) one or many are important for developing a healthy community. Females are unequivocally important members of our society and deserve the same treatment as any other member in our nation.

You are Our Country's backbones, without our grandmothers, mothers, sisters, aunts, daughter a, wives, girlfriends, etc., there would be no functioning member in our society. Everyone asks why? What is wrong with the kids today? Is it that difficult to imagine they are not recieving the appropriate nurturing and care during tgeir most crucial stages of development? Children need support and their primary caregivers (their mothers especially) are expected to do everything else in the world, but ve home witg them because that would make them inadequate. Others dictate the appropriate amount of time to stay home with our babies. Women should not have to choose between being a parent and a person, especially when allowances are made for men to be both and some to be nothing at all. It isn't "complicated", woman are undoubtedly important and to improve our upside down society, we need to improve our treatment towards females.

Children learn by example. As they grow they will only learn and know respect, kindness, morality, by their exposure to tgese principles. Too many kids are suffering mentally and physically as they watch their Moms struggle to provide for them and at the same time be mistreated in every sense of the word. People play music and water plants to allow for a conducive environment for them to grow and flourish, if not the plants would wilt and die or grow into spoiled fruit - very similar to the Bible Parable of the Sower.
Yet, it is acceptable to defame, mistreat, and outright tourcher their mother's before them. Often children watch the one they love most live in a world environment that makes them hollow. Women, especially single mothers or children of single mothers, make exceptions for others in life thinking it will be best for everyone else only to face repeated disapointment.
Many times females efforts are thwarted by stigmas, hearsay, labels, and judgment from people that have no accountability for the affect on the women or their families. Children are full of innocence and love and the aforementioned environments only foster environments of rage, loneliness, fear, pain, anxiety, and bitterness that will remain with them into adulthood if they are not fortunate enough to be redirected with love, support, and/or healthy outlets.

It is understandable that many of you don't have the time or money to fight for this cause yourselves, but you can support those willing to make a change, so that our children and future generations can live another way. Also, always remember you deserve a break male or female homemakers, partners, coparents, etc., there us absolutely nothing wrong with you taking time to yourself and to enjoy you and your family. May God bless you (universally)!!!

Because women are humans just as much as men are and we should have the same rights and privileges as men. Women work hard, if not harder and we deserve to have equal rights
