Given the current uncertainty from Omicron Variant, the University of Manitoba has announced that some of the courses will resume in-person teaching. While it is imperative that we all get back together, however, we must ensure that we all re-unit safely. Many other courses will continue remote learning throughout the term (ending April 30, 2022), including many other 3000 level Comp Courses, however, the Professor from course Comp 3370 has insisted we return to in-person class while it is unsafe to do so.

The course has a total of 128 students, returning to the classroom altogether would result in a very likely outbreak of COVID19. Yes, we all want to get back to normal, but safety is the priority. We all have loved ones, family members, friends, parents, etc., resuming in-person class at this critical moment would make our loved ones worry.

The Professor has the right to continue online learning, sign the petition now, and make our loved ones smile again!!
