Leash-free Dog Exercise Area in Little Bay

Little Bay has a large number of dog owners and is a popular dog walking location destination for non-residents, but there no off-leash dog exercise area.
A fully fenced dog exercise area is important for the area so that supervised dogs can run free without risk of straying onto roads or into the paths of non-dog lovers or the vulnerable, including children and the elderly.
A convenient, low cost option could be to erect a suitable 1.3 metre (approx) fence and gates around the perimeter of Bob A Day Park on the corner of Harvey Street and Ewing Avenue, Little Bay. A suitable example of the fencing and gates exists at the enclosed dog exercise area at Firmstone Reserve, 8 Murray Street, Pagewood, in the Bayside Council area.
