Covid-19 has affected all students since 2020 and therefore a lot of experiences kids should have the chance of having weren’t able to happen. however - since then , measures and precautions have increased drastically in a way that allows those experiences to proceed as normal in 2022 while still maintaining the health and safety of students. the adjusted level 1 - regulations set and approved by the government aswell as president Cyril Ramaphosa state that Gatherings are restricted to no more than 1 000 people indoors and no more than 2 000 people outdoors. matric learners in total , plus if all learners were to bring a date , is less then 800 people. 

regulations for gathering indoors or outdoors also state we will have to

 : a) wear a face mask;
(b) adhere to all health protocols 

which all students would adhere to. 

since 2020 , vaccinations have been distributed to people 18 years of age and under , which could be a requirement set , if a student would like to bring a date. 

we aren’t trying to go against the school or break the law , however it is within laws and regulations for dates to be allowed.
