Power outages are the norm for Ward 91, however the matter has escalated since December 2021. February 2022 has been more than eventful! 

Whilst promises were made that Mooikloof will not be affected by loadshedding the contrary has happened. 

3 February 2022 a power outage that started at 18h00 affecting more than 800 households receives a response of:

1.3 Mooikloof Sub Moreletapark affected. System Operator fell ill last night. Unfortunately the area power could therefore not be restored. System Operator Team to restore power this morning. 

This is not acceptable! 

Surely accurate consistent feedback  to residents should be the norm. 

Mayor Randall Williams your attention to this matter is required. I will gladly meet up with you to discuss solutions.
