The environmental issue I am bringing attention to is soil getting compacted. This is when the soil gets so compacted that the plants die. This problem is important because if it doesn’t get fixed, it will cause some of our food to become depleted.

This environmental problem impacts both humans and animals. This is because when the soil gets compacted, the plants die, and the animals who would usually eat it will go hungry and die, and the humans who usually eat those animals will go hungry and die.

My evidence that this environmental problem impacts humans and animals is that when the plants disappear, they impact the organisms in the other levels of the food chain.

The reason why this issue is affecting this community is because if that plant is needed in the food chain, it will cause a downfall to the organisms in the trophic levels above it.

In conclusion, we should take more time to care for our plants indoor or outdoor. Us humans are responsible for if this problem gets better or worse, but I do know that we haven’t been doing much to fix it. A way to fix it is letting animals like cows to roam on the ground where nothing has been growing anymore. Just make sure that there are cover crops so that the cows have something to eat. You probably don't want them to eat your crops either. That is why we should create mini cows that can roam around on our houseplants :)
