Ramp access for branxton post office

Ramp access for branxton post office
we are hoping to make a change to our local post office where I have learnt that many locals with disabilities and mobility issues are struggling to access their local post office as there is no ramp access and have been told myself to leave my daughter outside at the bottom of the steps or in the car (she is in a wheelchair and lives with a severe traumatic brain injury ) I feel this is unfair to all people with mobility issues who should have equal opportunities .. I feel it’s quite degrading to be sat at the bottom of steps not being able to come in to their local post office and being told there’s nothing that can be done ..
the discrimination act 1992 states the standards are to “ensure That people with a disability have dignified equitable cost-effective and reasonable achievable access to buildings and facilities and services within buildings”
I feel that there should be safe and equal access for all … I feel that ramp access to branxton post office should be addressed in support of our struggling community of disabilities and elderly people who are now deprived of independence of access to a local post office due to Greta post offices recent closure
please help me help our community have a voice and make a change
