Dear Committee Members,

Subject - Reconsideration of IITs M.Tech fees hike decision

I firmly believe that drop out students are taking the seat of a true aspirant who wants to study and seek research goals. But with the fact that this decision will make every graduate student and working professional to think twice before enrolling for the higher study programmes.

We should rather impose the bond on every dropping student equivalent to the 4 semester fees i.e. Rs 4 lakhs. This will let dropping students to think twice rather than those students who want to study and pursue education. Why are we making every serious student to pay on behalf of a non-serious student? 

I request to all the decision makers to please rethink and reevaluate your decision. Our decision should make the education industry to grow by leaps and bounds. Education industry should act like a magnet to attract the greatest talent towards itself rather than repelling the talent.

I am very sure that this proposal will definitely make the drop out ratio falling to 0%.
