MBA colleges should start application form after CAT exam
MBA colleges should start application form after CAT exam
I am writing this petition on behalf of many voices which are unspoken and it is the time we the students should raise our voice. While pursuing MBA as everyone knows national level entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, SNAP, NMAT,etc. are given for entry to Top B-Schools. Apart from entrance exam fees Indian Institution of Management (IIMS)s and many other B-Schools opens their Application form later which are to be filled and submitted even before the conduction of entrance exams which is indeed wrong.
A student has to fill the application form of many B-Schools which costs around 2000 to 2500 or even more for a single B-School and one single student on an average has to fill forms of atleast 10 to 15 colleges for getting admission. A student spends almost ₹30k to ₹40k INR for application form with no guarantee of admission to any B-Schools.
We students pursuing MBA, would like to request the authorities to stop colleges to make selling application forms, a business and making money from students in such a way. A lot amount is indeed spent by the students having no idea how his entrance test is going to go, which does nothing but benefit colleges in making money. At least make application forms available after the results of the entrance exams and if that is not possible then atleast after conduction entrance exams so that the student is aware of how well he thinks he has performed in his test and accordingly choose the college forms to fill in.
Your faithful,
Aspiring MBA students.
