Raising Hale For Helen

Raising Hale For Helen

The Issue

Helen Hale, loving mother of six, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a woman who selflessly dedicated her life to her family.

After the passing of her husband of over sixty-five (65) years, her rights were violated when she was taken from her home (Legally?) by a court appointed “temporary” guardian named Marcia Pevey and placed in an unlicensed care “facility”-a house in a residential neighborhood-owned and operated by a woman convicted of a 3rd degree felony for Deadly Conduct.

While held at this “facility”, Helen was the victim of gross neglect and was declining at a rapid pace.
Her daughter, Jane, astutely noticed that her mother was wasting away and had to beg this “care facility” to call an ambulance. The caregiver REFUSED, and only took Helen to the hospital herself when Jane threatened to call 911. Upon arrival, the hospital ran a series of tests. Grandma Helen’s potassium level was a dangerously low 2.8. Her bowels were so clogged from not being allowed to use the bathroom on a toilet that the hospital thought she had cancer.

Helen’s “temporary” guardian, in the meantime, left her home unsecured, and helped herself to as much of the Hale estate as she could get her hands on. Five of Helen’s six children united to have this guardian removed, only to get embroiled in a bitter guardianship dispute between the family who Helen has spent every waking moment with, and the youngest daughter who hasn’t spoken to any of the family in twelve (12) years.

One sibling out of six who saw the situation as an opportunity to swoop down and ‘cash in’ on the remaining estate. The courts somehow decided to split the guardianship - giving guardianship of the estate to the family’s choice for guardian, while giving guardianship of the person to the youngest daughter who has been absent for the past decade and who lives three (3) hours away.
Helen Hales youngest daughter now makes the decisions in caring for her, and has hired a woman recorded by other family members making deals to buy and sell drugs out of her home.
The courts will not listen unless we have enough support to make them.

Please sign the petition asking the courts to either appoint Susan Staley grandma Helen’s oldest daughter
primary caregiver and or to appoint a guardian ad litem of non-interest to the Hale estate.

You will find pictures, recordings of drug dealings being made by Helen Hales caregiver within the home of Helen Hale, phone conversations and a recording of the refusal of medical treatment as early as yesterday “Friday 02/03/2012” when paramedics were called to the home of Helen Hale by her granddaughter “Jennifer Goings”. Granma Helen’s caregiver “Leslie Joyle” after being told by the paramedic’s grandma Helen needed to be seen by a doctor refused to allow her to be taken to the hospital.
