Due to cost of living expenses, gas, and many other factors out of our control, Everman ISD is losing great employees to other non-educational professions, such as Starbucks, Target, and Amazon. The main group that struggles with the low pay are our paraprofessionals in Special Education & General Education classrooms. These staff members spend the most time with our students and your children throughout the day. They are essential employees and certified staff could not do their part in educating or caring for our babies, especially in the Special Education classrooms, without our paras. Please help us to keep great staff members to ensure the safety, well-being, and education of our future generation, the ones that will be caring for us someday.
