Children of inmates and drug abusers are often forgotten in our society. There are very little laws protecting them and they are often placed in foster homes if their households are unstable. I wish to demand the government raise fundings in support for these children so that they can receive better care as they grow up. When left uncared for, these children often follow the footsteps of their parents. If the government and society give them a little more attention, we can teach them the moral rights and wrongs and help them grow up to become a law-abiding citizen. If change does not occur, these children will eventually go down the spiral that their parents went down and the cycle will continue. We need to fix this problem now.
