Costs of food and other necessities have been going up in recent days due to the gas prices. as the prices go up people are less likely to buy things or even be able to go to work because they don't have enough money for gas or even food. soon we may even have shortages of items because trucks cannot pay for diesel due to the high price and low wages. Some people can't afford their pets leading them to be abandoned.
