Provide ASL instruction to deaf and hard of hearing students.

Early years in a child's life is the most important. Not only is it the prime time for children to learn right from wrong but its also the time for them to learn a way to communicate. When you are deaf or hard of hearing your life becomes a lot harder. You have to learn to communicate with people who may or may not understand you. Spoken English may be impossible for you to learn. Asl becomes a language that helps deaf people communicate not only with the deaf community but also people in everyday society. As of right now, these school districts say that in order for a deaf or hard of hearing student to succeed they need to learn to speak. Asl is not provided for deaf or hard of hearing students regardless of need. This must end! Lets tell these schools that just because you can't speak English doesn't mean you should be given the oppurtunity to learn a way to communicate!
