Few days back, a study by myself found that public sector as well as private banks have been imposing unreasonable charges on customers for failing to maintain minimum balances in their savings accounts. Poor people, middle class people & those who are unable to maintain minimum balance are frequently exploited by banks like SBI. Reports that around Rs 1,771 crore have been collected as charges from customers who did not maintain their minimum monthly average balance (MAB) in their accounts during April-November 2017. In the year 2018-19 it is crossed to Rs.4,781 crore. We have to Kill this Organized Looting system immediately. Poor man's earnings must stay safe even it is 1 Rupee, nobody has rights to took'em even the bank has no rights.
