There is a urgent need for a four way stop at the intersection of Oakdale and Marboro Drive in the City of Racine. There is a completely uncontrolled intersection at this location. An accident occurred just last week due to cars speeding down Oakdale and failing to slow down at the uncontrolled intersection of Marboro Drive and Oakdale. There are multiple families with young children who enjoy walking and being outdoors. These families are in danger due to this uncontrolled intersection. The risk of someone getting hurt due to the uncontrolled intersection is much greater with no stop signs posted what so ever. The people of this community who have lived in this area for some time have witnessed multiple accidents due to this. We need to protect our children and our families from injury by requesting a four way stop to be put in at this dangerous intersection.
