In predominately Black neighborhoods, citizens are often stopped at the door to have their receipts checked.  This practice is racially motivated and treats honest hard working citizens like criminals.  People of color deserve to be able to go to the grocery store in order to fulfill their basic needs without feeling and being treated like criminals.  Please I am asking you to join me in requesting that ShopRite ends the practice of asking consumers to check their receipts.  This practice is archaic, doesn't prevent theft, and is mainly  implemented in poor or predominately Black/Brown neighborhoods.
