I'm signing this petition because I agree with the concerns of the Racial Justice Alliance. There is more work to be done. Thank you.

I believe that reparations are an essential part of racial healing in our nation and our state. To not address reparations in the Cannabis bill is to ignore the immense harm done to people of color through the war on drugs, a war that focused almost exclusively on inner cities and people of color.

I need this bill to be a fare and equal with some reparations done. The social and economic damage this has caused African American historically is outrages and fail to acknowledge this is unacceptable and will continue the dismissal of equality and justice..

I am signing because there must be steps taken to ameliorate the past injustices meted out on people of color around the issue of marijuana before a free market in the substance can be permitted in Vermont.

I am signing because I believe that I should have a voice about growing, buying, and being able to find quality local cannabis in VT. By Vermonters for Us.

It's crazy we haven't made this part of s.54 or tried to pass it before s.54

People and communities of color were targeted in the original cannabis laws and have suffered more under them. We must undo whatever damage we can undo! Time to fix this.
