Urgent upgrade is required at the intersection of Maryborough-Hervey Bay Road and Pialba-Burrum Heads Road. This intersection is heavily congested daily with the demands from a growing population, the proximity of schools and a local shopping precinct. This danger is only heightened during peak hours and school drop offs as traffic congests in all directions to form extremely long queues, causing multiple blind spots and increased driver risks. This  intersection requires immediate action from the State Government and the Department of Main Roads that is well overdue for our community.
