Firstly I believe that any Australian lock down in any state is valid and for good reason. Peoples health must come first however I believe that if a service is paid for by a consumer and a service cannot be provided then it is refundable. I currently have five vehicle registrations I paid for here in Queensland that I cannot use due to lock downs. I can only imagine how others feel with their situations.

Every person is in a different walk in life. Some may have paid for registration to get two and from work. This may have impacted them where they are no longer able to go to work. Without work they cant provide for themselves or family.

This petition is for all people who have paid for vehicle registration within Australia who get put into lock down and cannot use their vehicles and still get charged daily in the overall cost of registration.

I would like to put forward this petition to any lock down for vehicle registration to be compensated for days/weeks/months unused due to a lock down. It is not fair to pay for something and not get the full use of it.
