To all Graduating Seniors, we would all like your help to get approval for an in-person graduation ceremony possibly in the month of August/Late Fall.

This pandemic has taken its toll on our in-person college experiences and we want to be able to provide our graduating seniors with one last in-person college experience. We are now hopeful that we are moving into better times, with almost half of our State and City vaccinated in the period of 5 months. Governor Cuomo, is slowly easing restrictions on gatherings and as of May 1st, has now allowed Colleges and Universities to hold a Commencement Ceremony  with limited guidelines. We predict that within a 4 month period taking us into the month of August, the majority of New York will be fully vaccinated. As Vaccinations increase, the strict health guidelines will slowly ease allowing us to hopefully have In-person commencement within the later months.

Currently our Queens College Administration has put together an amazing virtual commencement ceremony on June 3rd, 2021. That ceremony will continue to take place and please do make sure to attend. However, we don't want to just leave you with that as your last celebratory memory at Queens College. So this proposal aims to provide you, the graduating seniors, an option to express yourself to the Queens College Administration and provide your feedback so we may make this enormous milestone as special as possible for you.
