Jennifer Simkins started this petition to Queens Club Gardens Board of Directors

Hi Everyone

Given the recent space pressures on the Queens Club Gardens during the Covid-19 pandemic, we have an ideal opportunity to reflect on whether the gardens could be used more effectively for different lifestyle needs.

In summary:

Please sign this petition to ensure the Board of QCG discuss use of the Gardens in the October AGM. Without your support they will not.

In detail:

Should the walled gardens at the back of the flats be reinstated for young children's use?

There is a sizable and safe walled garden which was previously used and is located at the back of the flats. It is now used as a refuse dump as other residents fly tip. For anyone who's not seen it before, it has the potential to be closed off/ safe space, where there could be a slide, little push cars, wendy house - i.e perfect for those 8 and under.

Can the "family side of the garden" be improved to make it more useable?

 - fit exit gates that young children can't escape from

- create an area of the nature beds which is suitable for young children to explore ie which does not contain delicate flowers

- place a few select and attractive play pieces which add to enjoyment of QCG children

Are there any other improvements which could be made cost effectively ?
