Close Quantum University because of rising COVID-19 cases
With the new coming year 2022 the rise in COVID cases is significant and many college and schools across the country are being closed.
The university is starting it's exams from 5th of jan which will continue till 19th of jan. If there is sudden increase in the number of cases students will not be able to get home in time safely. Recently the Jammu and Kashmir govt. had closed the colleges and schools, following Haryana and West Bengal. 85 in a Navodaya vidyalaya in Nanital were infected of COVID, Nanital is in the same State as the University. In Bihar 83 Doctors of NMCH were infected of COVID. There are were high chances of imposing strict lockdown. In the case of widespread students will not get urgent tickets to their home town and moreover there will be the danger of travelling in public transport. Moreover day scholars from different cities come to the university which increases the chances of spreading COVID among the students in hostel.
So this is a petition to take an action on the increasing cases and close the university as soon as possible. So everyone can get home safely and in time reducing the worries of both students and their guardians. Providing us with proper information about the the decision will help us to communicate better and prepare for the upcoming events.
