Quality of education going down with mandating NCERT books !!

Recently, the Central Board of Secondary Education in India made it mandatory for all CBSE schools to use NCERT books from next academic year.
NCERT books use low quality paper that tear easily and the binding being very poor is not long-lasting. Also there are various spelling mistakes and picture quality that is poor as well; which shall in-turn affect the students.
Books by private publishers provide students with updated facts and exercise, many of which come along with e-learning that shall enhance students' caliber.
It is a time for digital education and smart boards. The NCERT curriculum hardly supports the revised teaching methodology introduced by the leading private schools. Whereas the private publishers offer interactive material which makes the learning a more comprehensive and holistic experience for the child.
The main motive behind this move is to provide inexpensive and affordable books. But, as they save on the rates, they compromise on educational quality of the content. If you are paying, it's worth it.
Moreover, there are many families depending on these private publishers and such a decision if brought to action shall decrease the sale in the books, leading to shutting down of the publishing industry. Hence, many people will lose their jobs and daily living.
This petition is to make the authorities aware, to provide high quality books at low rates to students; Because at the end of the day, students are the building blocks of a nation's future.
