Education is a three-way street between teachers, students and parents. None of us can do it alone. Studies show that children with involved parents tend to do better in school. As educators, we work hard to find ways to involve parents in the classroom and draw them into their child’s education. Student behavior issues are out of control in our schools. Teachers are getting abused emotionally, physically and mentally.  Our schools are in crisis and in turn, our teachers are in crisis. There are multiple repeat offenders in our classrooms disrupting students' learning and making it impossible to teach. We demand SOLUTIONS and CONSEQUENCES against abusive behaviors. We demand that parents become more accountable for their child's actions. We demand that our schools and communities offer more mental health services. We demand that our students feel SAFE! We demand more support from top-tier administrators and more support in our classrooms. 

Our students deserve a healthy and happy classroom, and we deserve to be healthy and happy teachers.
