Why this petition matters

Started by Norm Cameron
Legislation in QLD for the rules on taking female crabs, mainly female mud crabs, to be changed.
Whether they be able to be taken seasonally, with a size limit of no smaller than 15cm or 16cm, and non egg bearing, or year round with a size limit of no smaller than 16cm and non egg bearing, with the same bag limit that currently applies.
QLD is the only state not a loud to take or possess female, non egg bearing crabs, with a greater size limit to other states on male crabs, (which should not be changed)
