We the citizens of Pyrenees Shire request that the council reverse its decision on mandatory waste management, curbside collection.  As a citizen I was not consulted about these changes and had I been, I would have protested or filled in the survey advising of my dissatisfaction. I fail to see the benefit to me or the community by enforcing this by-law and request that proper and fair community consultation is conducted to allow me my voice. I also object to being charged and extra $200 for something that I get no benefit from at all. I object to not being consulted of these possible changes and fail to understand why the council did not make contact with me by email or Australia Post.  I was only made aware of these changes after the fact and I object to the manner that the council endeavored to remove my voice. The sources I have been advised were used to communicate the survey is not a media I am familiar with.  I request that the shire reverses this by-law or takes the onus of the extra charge.
