Hello guys,

Some of you may know me but my name is Alyssa and I am the Athletic Trainer for Paloma Valley High School for three years now. I love what I do and often get students and athletes asking me how they become an athletic trainer or get in the medical field. Since I started working here, I wanted to start a Sports Medicine program where I would teach classes related to Sports Medicine and have my students work in the Athletic Training room to take what they learn in the classroom and get hands on experience. I took Sports Medicine when I was in High School and that is the reason I am an Athletic Trainer now. I am very passionate about the profession and I want to be a role model and guide for students who need it.

The problem is me being able to get the right amount of students to take my class. I'm asking for signatures of students who would be willing to take my class in the 2022 school year. I'm hoping proving that I can get the numbers will convince district that it is worth it to give me the classes to teach.
