The polluted waters of lake Okeechobee are destroying the St. Lucie river estuary. The Algae blooms are killing everything and oysters can help. We should put oysters in the brackish waters in the St. Lucie because one oyster can filter out 50 gallons a day. If we put in oyster bars in to the river, they would filter would help clear out all the phosphorus and fertilizer junk and save the estuary! 

But, the oysters are not the solution to this problem. The oysters will basically grant us more time to solve the problem. The point is, we need to stop diverting the horrible, dirty, disgusting water into the St. Lucie. Even better, get rid of the phosphorus problem anyways!
