If anyone travels through Baltimore, chances are they have been accosted by so called "squeegee workers" either alone or in large numbers. This not only impedes the flow of traffic at intersections but makes visiting and/or traveling through Baltimore an unpleasant ordeal. The so called "squeegee workers" will sometimes become aggressive if a motorist tells them they do not want their services. There have been many incidents between the so called "squeegee workers" and motorists involving the police, the last one in early July of 2022 a "squeegee worker" fatally shot a man at the intersection of Light and Conway Streets in the Inner Harbor. This situation has gotten national attention and allowing this kind of aggressive panhandling to go on will hurt businesses by keeping tourists from visiting Baltimore. Please put a stop to it!
