Social Media affects politicians and their campaigns. In the past, there have been issues with social media colluding with other politicians, only advertising one side of the political standpoint and ignoring the others. This can also lead to the spread of false and biased information being spread to audiences, which doesn't seem right. Social media platforms violate users' first amendment rights and censors their words. Since we use the platforms, we adhere to their agreements. We have to follow the rules while also giving up certain American rights in the process.
