I support the cause, but Brian Dunn has not been CEO for some time, you should probably edit that

People need the holidays to spend with family and friends. Believe me, the people will still buy...just AFTER the holiday. The FULL holiday! I refuse to shop anywhere on Thanksgiving (except the grocery store for a last minute item).

When a consumer decides to forego the family tradition of Thanksgiving, that's on them - to their own shame. When an employee is forced to forego a family Thanksgiving, that shame is on the employers - aka the stores, Stop the insanity. Thanksgiving was not designed for these businesses to get "in the black"; it's a perk they've enjoyed for years. These employees deserve to spend time with their families. And anyone willing to camp out for several days for a great deal on a TV deserves to have no excuse to get out of a family Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving is a time for family to be together. Employees must sacrifice important family time to go to work. I refuse to shop on Thanksgiving to any store that opens before 4:00 am on Frid.

I've worked in retail, and my mom still works in retail. It's crazy that people have to be at work on Thanksgiving day.
