Alligator in the County Parks in Pinellas County have become very abundant and very aggressive.  Several time in the past year while walking by myself or walking my dogs in John Taylor Park, Walsingham Park, and Lake Seminole Park, I have seen alligators not only in the water but on land laying in the sun. At John Taylor Park there have been numerous times when the people playing Disk Golf have warned me and others with dogs to turn around because there was an alligator laying on the path. Every year alligators lay eggs and mutliply so unless Animal Control starts purging these pesty animals we are going to be overrun.On August 3, 2022, I was walking my Jack Russell in Lake Seminole Park, an alligator lunged from under the vegitation in the water, grabbed my dog, and swam off. It was a night that my mother and I will never forget and a sight I will see in my mind forever. Bandit, my dog, was a service dog for me mother, he was a very intelligent, and a special part of out family for 10 years
