Public Protest Against Gov. Daniels as Purdue President Was A Huge Success!
Jun 28, 2012 — What a great start!
Approximately 150 people attended the all day protest at the Purdue University Memorial Mall, boosted by Colleen Winters YouTube invitation.
Event hosts Aaron Hoover, Julia Thompson and the many volunteers did a great job networking, organizing, and spreading the word to the media, resulting in several newspaper articles, radio & TV reports.
Michael Lopez has collected 83+ signatures for a Open Letter To The Board of Trustee at the event in addition to the 885+ online petition signatures demanding that the Purdue Board of Trustee and Governor Mitch Daniels withdraw his Purdue Presidential bid.
The next protest will take place in the Fall, when students, faculty, & staff return from summer break.
