We the students are fed up with the residential dining services this year. We pay the same amount for dining as previous years but we have been delivered a far worse dining experience and lack of service. We feel that we should be refunded a portion of our meal plan price due to the following grievances:

We wait (sometimes outside in the cold) for hours each day in lines that did not exist in the past.

We lack the plentiful food options that existed in the past.

The Union and Crave hall options have been "closed for renovation" with no reopen date which further restricts our options.

We are limited on the quantity of food we can get where in the past students were able to sit for hours in the dining court and get unlimited food for one swipe.

Quite often, the dining courts run out of food so we cannot eat what WE PAID FOR.

Sometimes we are denied request such as 2 patties on a burger simply because "We aren't doing that right now."

Although we were given an extra one or two swipes per week, we are unable to use them because on-the-go is closed for the last 2.5 days of the week so we often cannot use our remaining swipes that WE PAID FOR.

We acknowledge that the dining experience needs to be different this year due to COVID; however, the price should be changed accordingly. We request a partial refund because we are being scammed out of the services that WE PAID FOR.
