Everyday the general public continues to heavily rely on Amazon for what seems like almost any and everything. But what they don’t know is what’s going on behind the scene. USPS has an agreement with Amazon that is suppose to only allow certain size packages within there buildings but constantly they get abused by having to put for instance bed frames, punching bags, etc. That agreement was solely based on the size of vehicles the Postal Service. Because USPS who is financially doomed continues to accept Amazon everyday they have not given any employees across the board any type of pay raise.  Amazon alone slammed the USPS during the beginning of the pandemic. Everyday was like any day during the holiday season. USPS didn’t offer any type of pay incentives for there employees who risked their lives everyday and who were told to basically “get over it”. The best way to make it fair would be to lose Amazon in USPS and allow them to rely on there own Amazon vehicles or UPS, FedEx. Amazon may have been the life jacket of the post office but it’s time to remove it and let USPS sink or swim. Employees are constantly overworked and underpaid.
