Cheranda Grigsby started this petition to PULASKI COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION, EDDIE GIRDLER and

Lately our children are being put a higher risk bomb threats school shootings kids being stabbed inside a bathroom my question to the parents of pulaski county children do you ever think about when your kid walks out that door every morning  you make sure to tell them you love them and have a good day like I do with mine. I am sure you all do that's is your most prized possession the reason you live breathe sacrifice struggle every day is for your kids. My second question after they leave do you think is that the last time I will see them do you feel safe sending them to school my answer as a parent is no not at all but as parents we have no choice right they either go to school or you go to jail for truancy there is home school which I have done off and on but Ky offers no support no cirriculium nothing to go on but a paragraph of subjects that must be included in their studies and a daily amount of time and you as a parent still pay school taxes and have to pay for your kids cirriculium  as well if you choose this option no online teacher supported state paid for tuition for online charter schools so that is not an option. Some parents dont have the time or education to do it either. The school sits back time and time again and do nothing to protect our kids even after recent events still nothing changes. It is time we as parents stand up unite together as one demand change demand saftey precautions metal detectors extra security or cops in our kids school before something worse happens. I implore that this county do something take action protect our kids they have a right to feel safe. They should not have to worry about knifes guns bombs they should worry about their educations.
