Why this petition matters

I being the citizen of Pakistan while exercising my constitutional right under Article  19 Freedom of speech, etc. of Constitution of Pakistan 1973, hereby request the authorities to take necessary and immediate actions to restore public trust that has been quashed with the recent political developments within the country. The recent event has not only left the public at large in a mental shock but has spread countrywide outrage and chaos. The nation has been divided ever since. Public faith in democracy is shattered.

PTI (Pakistan Tahreek e Insaaf) in general elections held on July 25, 2018 received the most votes 31.82% and won elections. In a free democratic country as it has been assumed, the majority of public elected PTI as their true, trustworthy party to lead the country in the chairmanship of Imran Khan (Former Primer Minister). The reason to cast vote for him and his party was because he came with clean hands, clear agendas and was in best interest of the nation.

174 people in the Assembly cannot decide for the 22 coror people. I as the citizen of Pakistan condemn the removal of Prime Minister Imran Khan and cannot bear the loss of the value of my vote casted in his Party's favor.

I fear for my country's sovereignty, integrity, prosperity by allowing it to be run by people who are not 'elected'/'selected' by the public or have no  public's confidence, and are on Bail period having legal proceedings levelled against them. Such individuals cannot represent our country and hold prominent seats in the National Assembly as their presence, work and efforts are doubtful in public eye.

Considering these facts and countrywide peaceful protests that have erupted with the changed government I request for and order for immediate General Elections in the country to restore public faith and to ensure fair democracy to save Pakistan from further internal divisions and public from mourning in agony.
