You may or may not have heard of the many effects of or ingredients that go into vaping products. If you have, I strongly encourage you to not ignore them; If you haven’t, no matter how tempting it is, or if someone’s forcing you to, do NOT start, because you are at risk of going down the wrong path like the 2,500 children and teens that start each day.

Vaping, like all other nicotine products, is terrible for your body and health. There are approximately 600 ingredients that go into them, and 7,000 generated when lit and smoked; many of which are toxic or could cause any kind of cancer. Vaping causes many symptoms and circumstances such as weakening bones, speeding up heart rate, rotting teeth, causing you to lose senses, and much more.

Many vaping companies like Juul, tell people that they "only get adults involved", even though it is very clear that they are targeting young kids, tweens and teens. During a TV interview this summer, Kevin Burns (CEO of Juul Labs), apologized for having so many young people use his company's products. He even added, "I hope there was nothing that we did to make it appealing to them."

Despite smoking brand commercials being banned, many companies still advertise and try to encourage more customers by posting pictures of celebrities or animals using or holding their products.

But, it turns out that lying and advertisements just weren't enough, so the companies added flavors to try and create more Juulers and more CASH. Speaking of money, a four-pod a week adds up to exactly $1,820 a year!

Now that you've heard about nicotine, cigarettes, vaping, and everything in between, hopefully you will change your ideas or thoughts if you had originally planned to use them. Remember - YOU are in control of YOUR life; choose wisely!
