Piping Plovers are becoming one of the many endangered species and it is all because of our wrecklessness. We let construction workers tear down mother nature's gifts and build on it's grounds, we litter, and smoke. Why are humans causing the suffering of all other cretures? The least we can do is pick up after ourselves. Think about your family. Every animal has a place in the ecosystem so to think that one dies, it can become catastrophic. They are the only reason that scientists can actually observe the ecosystem in the first place and way we don't feel a lot of bugs crawling on our legs at the beach. Mothers and Fathers lose their children and the children continue to lose their families. Imagine living their lives and losing those who are close to you almost every week. Please show some kindness and be more open because these birds are only the beginning of what's to come from our mistakes.
