v.
BOARD OF EDUCATION OF
WOODFORD COUNTY, KENTUCKY,
a Body Corporate, and J.C.S.,
Defendants.

Citing depositions from a summary judgement filed December 23, 2019 on behalf of the Plaintiffs the Administrators admit to failing to document, record, report, to preserve property, to maintain internet activity logs as required by law, to notify Child Protective Services, ignored mandatory procedures and were negligent in their roles to provide a safe environment for students creating deliberate child endangerment for Woodford County students and students throughout this nation.

An excerpt from the filing of 12-23-2019 which is a matter of public record:

The undisputed testimony is that Schrimsher could not have sexually harassed a female student because he is gay. Schrimsher was not investigated in 2017 because Plaintiffs (and the half dozen other victims preyed upon over a two year period) are female. The County permitted Schrimsher to sexually abuse multiple minor female students with impunity. The County’s mandatory procedures were not followed – over and over and over again. And, if Schrimsher wanted to apply for another teaching job today without reproach, he could. The County has an
undisputed history of protecting and supporting teacher-on-student sexual harassment.

Protecting children from those who prey upon their youth should not be a responsibility as an after thought.  Proactive not reactive is the name of the game.

The decisions by these Administrators after numerous complaints/allegations were levied by students and teachers concerning the "dangerous"  misconduct and behavior of former choir teacher, J. Cooper Schrimsher were not conducive to the Mission Statement, Federal and State Law or public opinion.

Please note the above details information filed on behalf of the Plaintiffs.  You may visit Voices Of Versailles facebook page for the full PDF details of the filing or you can purchase the document from the link above which include the exit negotiations between Schrimsher and the Administration which are disturbing at the very least.
