N Padav started this petition to Public of health

I work with the emergency services.

It has come to my attention that members of the public have been entering hospitals declaring we are empty and that Covid is a lie.

During this professionals have been filmed and personally targeted in one video saying a police officer "wouldn't be able to fight without his uniform" "they have been abused and bullied as a child".

When I worked on the wards I had patients film me and my fellow nurses who then sent the videos onto friends with an agreement to "do us over" when leaving work. We had to be escorted in and off work. This patient had also threatened to find out where I lived and rape my children.

This is not the first time something like this has happened and we now have CCTV on our home. It caused a great deal of stress to my family.

Whilst there are no punishments for filming professionals it appears that this is becoming a problem.

Filming us puts us at risk. Disclosing where we work puts us at risk. We are here to do our job not to be exposed in a negative manner!

We have all seen videos of nursing staff, police, paramedics which curupt what actually happened. And we do not have the power to comment.

There are emergency service personals who have been targeted directly following being filmed.

Members of the public/ patients should not be allowed to film any member of the emergency services without permission.

They do not realise how much danger they put us in. Should we require audio evidence or film we have to ask permission and sign a consent form.

Surely if they wish to film us it should be done via the correct channels. I also believe that like the covid fines they should be fined, cautioned or prosecuted due to invasion of privacy.

People have human rights which is often thrown in our face however despite being on shift what are our rights?

I want to start a petition to take this further. And hopefully put something in place where you can not film and care, nursing, police, paramedic or fire staff. OR in any hospital/ police station.

Should somebody wish to film the engagement they must apply to management or get permission to do so. it should be done appropriately.

People have the right to protest, be an activist but risking putting emergency workers in danger should not be part of this.
