Now a days you can see a lot of White topping (concrete roads) initiative across the country. Undoubtedly It's not a pro environment.  

As everyone knows concrete roads (white topping) are not at all an environmental friendly initiative as it affects to Underground water. Underground water is the water present beneath Earth's surface in soil pore spaces and in the fractures of rock formations. But these white toppings abolish the flow of rain water in to the earth and it goes waste. Drainage system is also not up to the mark and all the water leaks towards wastage.

Due to heat of concrete roads vehicle Tyre durability will go for a toss and also due to accumulation of dust/soil particle on the concrete road, increases accident rates comparatively. It's also a cost effective than the present road system. 

Apart all these demerits, majorly it's effecting to Ground water and we (public) should protest the white topping roads and save water. Hence, request you to sign this petition and be a part of Nature protection and save water campaign before its too late to end up with water storage at ground.
