I love our restaurants, but San Mateo County is the least restrictive county in the Bay Area, allowing bars and indoor dining to be open.

Do we want to be the county that drives up Coronavirus cases in the Bay Area?

Is having bars and indoor dining worth it? We know that being with others indoors isn't as safe as outdoors, especially when masks can't be worn by patrons.

Isn't takeout, delivery and outdoor dining enough for now?  

Let's give our kids the best chance possible for being able to go back to school in the fall for (at least some )in person education.  Isn't that more valuable than having bars open?

Let's not reopen faster than all the other counties around us.  I'd like to see the Peninsula moving in lock step together.
